WATERFALL OF POLYRRHENIA

Western Crete is a unique place, because it has many almost untouched parts. In many cases, we can feel, like the great explorers of past centuries. There are not only several unexplored historical places, caves in this area: but many times we don’t even know, what treasures the forest next to us hides.

The Waterfall of Polyrrhenia is a gem: not even most navigation systems indicate it, despite the fact: that the small waterfall does not subside even in summer.

In western Crete, in the great summer heat, many streams dry up. Therefore, well-thought-out water management is very important.
